The Rhodes featuring the Allegro Orchestra performing "Where Are You"

The Allegro Orchestra recently joined forces with singers / songwriters Derek Daunicht and David LaViola , in this new version of their song "Where Are You". Multiple Grammy Nominated engineer/producer Phil Bulla has filmed, remixed and remastered the "Allegro Orchestra" version seen here for the first time on Youtube. This orchestral version of "Where Are You" was scored and conducted by The Orchestra's director, Viktor Prizgintas.

The Allegro Orchestra, noted for their previous eclectic resume of jazz, pop, Broadway, Irish Traditional, Classical, patriotic and rock, continue to forge new ground with Derek Daunicht and David LaViola's rich pop style. "While not originally conceived as part of
the performance, the strings add a seamless blend that simultaneously soar with The Rhodes lyrics and melody," explains Prizgintas. "I'm currently working on additional scores for Derek and Dave and am developing a full-concert presentation of The Rhodes with Allegro. Its always great to combine classical training with other genres and styles. In many ways, I think these kind of thoughtful adaptations even improves how young musicians approach classical music. Its all rock n' roll after all is said and done."
