Now, with the introduction of the hour-long tapes looming, this was one of the last of the half-hour tapes which were introduced on BBC2 at the time, and this had caused a furore when this tape should have been intended for playing over on BBC1 and, boy, didn't they get the mess about it? Anyway, enjoy!!!!
Wow!!! The first track, I haven`t heard since my tape recorder packed up 25 years ago. Taped a few on there just before some of the music, including this one disappeared. One of my all time favourite pieces of test card music from the early 70`s. Plus the second piece. Many thanks. Great!!!!!
The Harmonica track is called 'Johanna' by the Guy Luypaerts Orchestra but I
haven't been able to find it anywhere

It's great that BBC still had their taste in accordion music even through into the early 70's! Great work.

Great!!! That haunting harmonica track sounds like the score from a western.
Such a shame these tunes are no longer heard.
