A monologue from the award winning Broadway play & Hollywood film, The Rainmaker by N. Richard Nash. Lizzie is played by Kate McSwiney O'Rourke, in this clip for her showreel, filmed by Alan Riordan. www.katemcswineyorourke.webs.com
I haven't been able to find the play or script, so I've only heard of the story. I don't know who lizzie is supposed to be talking to in this monolouge or what's preceded. There's a lot of feeling in your face, but you should give some intro to let us understand what you are performing better. Does anyone know where to find it on the net, free script to read or anything?
Emotional, much potential and possibly the best monologue I have ever seen. Very nice work
