@esitubo I wouldn't say the greatest. Maybe the most successful or well-known. But among his work (which, still, is quite remarkable), there are only a few great films actually, the rest of them being very honnest.
And I agree with the other directors you mentionned =).

@ManuABG My brain is perfectly connected, thank you very much: Spielberg is widely accepted as one of the greatest producers and commercial directors (Indiana Jones, Close Encounters, ET, etc.) of our times.
And if you want to talk just Directors, let's not forget the Truffauts, Fellinis, Bergmans, Kurosawas etc. of the world...

It's one of the worst. His movies are just ridiculous. The president of the united states who saves the world on his F22... ROFL ! In every movie from him, you see at least 23 times the american flag. America always saves the world, rest of the world is just composed of dumbasses. He even made a film called "patriot". He seems to think that american people is the only valuable people. Pfff idiot. Anyway, I admitt, his staff is always composed with good guys (special effects are really amazing)
