  • Man, every time I research a guitar I find out you own one, lol. Here is a suggestion for your next acquisition if you don't already have one: a Collings 335 copy hollow-body. My dream harem would be an Anderson strat, a Suhr tele, a McNaught Lp and a Collings 335.

  • I am currently saving for a Collings I-35 :)

  • I knew it! I look forward to the post-acquisition Collings review. Also, the question may have already been asked, but what do you do for a living so that you can not only afford these beauties but also have the time to be as well practiced as you are.

  • You crack me up! And you give me more credit than I deserve. To answer your question, I am an ethical hacker when I don't pretend to be a guitar player on YouTube ;)

  • I stumbled on this vid while searching for David Thomas from "Pere Ubu"!

    Glad I stuck around!

    Nice guitar!

    Nice playin'!

  • Thanks, and thank God for happy incidents :)

  • Sounds kinda muddy to me. Do you have a video showing the bridge pickup on this guitar. I thought other guitars you demoed on the same amp sounded better.....Maybe it was just a bad recording? That setup has to sound much better in person...

  • I'm lucky to own one. Phoenix Rising with the most beautiful quilted top you'll ever see. It nearly brought tears to my eyes when I saw it.

  • McNaught guitars are incredible!!!!

  • Pickups are from Manlius. The weight is reasonable. Heavier than my Teles - obviously - but a lot lighter than the LPs I used to own.
