I used to club underage with these guys and buy i-D mag when it was stapled together with luminous covers and old typewriter wording. I was so lucky and I've never faded!

Steve Strange, New Romantics - never really got it at the time but looking back on it now it's visually stunning and the synth based hook mesmerising. I was about 10 when this came out ?1982. Great stuff.

@Vascillate You're still quite lucky to have lived through the greatest musical decade. I was born in '84, so though there, I really missed out, but I have been making up for it :)
