  • Do you have the 1936 NY Phil Beethoven 8th? I really would love to hear it.

  • theoldlefthander--

RCA/BMG released this coupled with the 1929 recording of Hadyn's "Clock" Symphony.

Unfortunately, the American pressings were largely done off-center and, needless to say (unfortunately) this was not compensated for in the re-issue.

Toscanini's complete NYP-SO recording were once re-issued as a box-set on "Pearl" (I think). It's out of print but I would just assume it's a helluva lot better.

  • Magnificent! Bravo! TY.

  • I love Toscanini.

    Thank you for posting this.

    .

  • Awesome dynamics!

  • lol the camera still zooming through all video =)

  • Still the best 7th going. It's been twenty years since I've heard it. Kudos for using (A very Clean) British pressing of the original 78's. Is there any other way to hear this???
