I love the idea of the Huf house design combined with a flat roof, but I am not impressed with the overall layout of this house. I just saw that they have started selling them here in the US now. Would be interesting how much they are in US $.

@iftyshifty This particular design is not at all complicated. Posts and beams all at right angles. Any half decent architect could whip up a similar design in no time. Using only a pencil and a set square. I wouldn't think it would be difficult to build either. You might not get Huf Haus' legendary build quality, but I'm sure it could be built for a lot less than Huf Haus would charge.

Unfortunately only the rich can afford such a house. If HH could lower their profit margins and make these houses available to the masses then in the long run they would make much more money and sustain a longer establishing business especially in these times of recession but they probably won't - shame.
