thanks for the video about to cook mine now

Its really about taste like he said if you want to inject it or not. The color change doesnt matter thats just the injection. I like mine better plain just a simple rub but to each his own. I like the fryer to might get one later as cooking the old propan way is a pain.

After seeing this video I bought the fryer. Looks awesome.

@toblerone529 Its all about taste to me and if the turkey is dark thats OK. I have fried turkeys for over 25 years and I like to inject and use a cajun seasoning on the outside.

@1Masterbuilt ok just watched a video of a chef frying a turkey in a regular propane fryer at 350 and he only salted his and suggested not to inject as that will cause the skin to darken too much. What is your take on that.

@toblerone529 You can do it before.
If you're injecting the turkey with marinade. should you still brine it beforehand?

@Lonnie514 If you inject the turkey there's no need to brine.

I have just purchased this Electric Turkey Fryer. I would like to fry two turkeys for Thanksgiving. Can I cook them back to back? Any tips?

@Rudemustang1 Thank you for choosing Masterbuilt. You can cook another turkey just allow the oil to come back up to temp. this will only take 10 to 15 minutes.
Happy Thanksgiving....
