  • Are the benefits of building and using one of these scrubbers really worth it? I'm sorry, I'm a noob and I'm looking for the best ways to maintain a saltwater aquarium with the least hassle.

  • Yes you could. But this one is chosen because it is not deep (takes minimal space), and because the socket is non-cracking ceramic, and because it has a built-in hanger in addition to the clip-on clamp.

  • You can polish the cheap hardware stores ones, goto your local auto parts store and byu a little tub of aluminum mag polish, then add some elbow grease and taa daa!
