I'm a Dad and this helped me french braid my wife and daughter's hair. Before this I had only the most rudimentary braiding skills, and so the introductory braiding at the start, that many negative commentators are complaining about, was very useful for me. I am a visual learner, so I used this video without sound and paused for myself to orientate myself and internalize the finger placements. To the dislikers, both elitist and learning impaired, learn to use your brains f#%$tards.

When I do this, the hair by the nape of the neck is always loose and ruins the entire French braid :(
