October 15, 2007: NS Dash-8E-39C 8686 leads 052 by Sheridan a High and Wide for Limerick Nuclear Power Plant. Nice P5R24 horn. The scanner conversation at the end shows the common difficulties of train to dispatcher communication along a route that runs through a valley in the middle of no where!

  • Thats a strange combo...electronic bells, but the old flashers are still in use. That engine is actually a C39-8E.

  • That's the same thing as a Dash-8E-39C. I don't like to use the abbreviated references.

  • NS Lynchburg Dispatcher Roanoke Out! LOL ! Cool video I like trains like this- different... Just joking about the Dispatcher. I went to school in VA and the Lynchburg Disp. I'd listen to.... Nobody listened to him either! Lol!
