This first approx 10-minute segment begins with Anna wrapping up "reading" (reciting from memory) part of a book "Horton Hears a Who" then transitioning to little plastic dollhouse figures with a model of bunk beds they are playing on/around located on the windowsill. The "blankets" are tissues that have been torn or cut to size. There are few or no other props on the windowsill, so cookies or other items (except the robot) that get mentioned later are imaginary. There are playing cards on the windowsill that occasionally get incorporated as magic carpets. Lorna found this segment challenging because difficulty to position for easy eye contact (object of interest is against the window) and because of this Anna's availability and transitioning in and out of interaction and isms is harder to reliably monitor and respond to. This is being posted to get video feedback for this volunteer from a Son-Rise teacher.
Developmental goals at this point still include eye contact 3-4 sec, interactive attention span 9 min, language goal - greetings (hello/goodbye and variants like "hey" or "see you") and flexibility -peripheral variations.
