Rhyden's First Moments

I walked into the room as the cut his cord and set him on Kia's lap, so I grabbed the video camera and followed the nurse as she took Rhyden to weight, measure and clean him up. Kia is behind a curtain at this point, bleeding badly as the nurses discuss how to stop the bleeding. She ended up having two shots and it fixed up just fine.

new borns are alot tougher than people think - it helps them being scrubed about a little - gets their lungs properly working and nice and warm. i mean being born is pretty traumatic - if you can get through that you can get through anything!

He's so beautiful and I love hearing Grandma's joy in her voice. I cried just listening to the video and I'll watch it over and over again. Proud Great Grandma
