Also the owner of the Bus loves to make the routes with open the door, doesn´t feel a risk to work with open door on his Bus. Is very frecuently to watch it in Lima city, the door is closed whem is a police of transit in the corners..then the door is open again. the transit in Lima no has rules the rules are made for the same BUS DRIVERS and safety exist with an insurance named SOAT in accidents every passengers has insurance on the BUS.
In Europe, North America, Japan, Russia, Australia, etc. the buses can't move if the door is open. There's a locking mechanism that prevents the bus from moving if the door is open.
I've had to get off buses and wait for the next one cause the door was stuck on the one I was on.
