Isn't it time we start to reconize people for their talent and not their skin color. If you listened to alot of country music as a child, you'd sing country, alot of R&B gives you an R&B influence, alot of rock, a rock influence and so on, and so on. She is a great singer and blows me away with her talent, lets keep it at that! Charlie Pride was black man signing country music in a time when it was unheard of didn't mean he wasn't good at it because of his color it was as unique and so is she!

This is ridiculous! Just because she's white she can't sing soul or she's "ripping off" black people?! I admit, no one can EVER replicate the culturally diverse soulful music the black people in America have contributed but that's just plain dumb. Even real Blues or Soul artists KNOW that music transcends race and that real soul and Blues can come from any skin color or ethnicity. And so what if she tries to sound a little like some blues and soul artists? Maybe that's how she learned.
