@w35m4n Awww good call on the Melvins. I didn't name HoF because I really don't like them for some reason even though they are are the reason Mastodon exists. Its funny how they met at and HoF show and now they are opening for Mastodon at shows.

@NickGimacutU Not to mention the Melvins (who Mastodon have covered and played with live) and High On Fire (Mastodon was formed after the members met at a HOF show.)

Seems like a lot of youngsters are listening to Mastodon lately and instead of being a metal elitest I can just introduce you to similar artists. Baroness, Kylesa, Red Fang, Black Tusk, Sleep, Isis, Pelican,The Sword, Electric Wizard, Orchid and Kyuss are all similar in genre and fantasy background. Obviously don't sound the exact same but I get a similar stokage from them.
