When you say a variety of tools to combine and weld the object into one organic shape, what tools in particular are you talking about? I'm sure you'll have a list of techniques I haven't even heard about. The tutorials are great : )
Yeah there's a lot of detail skipped over on that stage, will be for another tutorial. Variety of tools refers to things like cutting/splitting, welding/merging, bridging etc.
I'm looking forward to that tutorial then. I am pretty new to modeling in general and these tutorials have given me some incredibly valuable information and saved me a ton of grief by helping me avoid mistakes I didn't yet know existed.
