I will look for the pics. I'm on an avid packraft research binge this week. Definately deflate your seat some especially if you also have the air mattress under it to lower your center of gravity and believe me you won't get as much side to side motion when you are paddling from the bow. Now, I have heard people use their air mattress in a packraft before they offered the inflatable seat to keep from getting wet so is that why you are also using that in the bottom of your boat or for cushioning?

Nice video. I checked out the trailpeak website as well. I'm really hoping you will upload some more videos of the raft at boar lake because it is soooo beautiful. I'd like to experience it vicariously through your travels. Also, in practice do you find yourself using the spray skirt more or less when you are on your outings?? Thanx so much...Laurie

I was just having some fun with the camera, trying to do videos, while Nancy paddling her alpacka. I always use the sprayskirt as it keeps out the splashes from my paddling. works well in the rain too.
most of the time I travel alone, nobody takes video or pics of me. :(
I usually inflate the seat to be up higher, more comfy. but maybe I could paddle better not so high up, didnt really try. I use the air mattress on the floor too.
more pics on flickr under xtremepeaks - just search for packraft
