100% agreed, especially about the random love triangle that appeared out of fucking no where between whats her face and whats his face.
What I can't wrap my head around is the people who say this show is smart and full of depth. That there is character development and story arcs. All I saw was pointless drama being created by unlikable 1 dimensional characters. Oh and the show was "dark" dark as in I couldn't see anything happing. Even in the ep. that showed earth there was an overcast.

@pardusian141 yeah Maybe But it was a fun ride. But to hell with SGU and To those sgu fans who blame others for its cancellation piss off you can't force people to watch something they don't like. I gave it a chance and didn't take.

Your're critique is mostly on season 1. Season 2 was insanly better.

@sokarsfleet SGA is never comming back. Sorry. Stargate is done.

@MariahSyn I agree. Also the fact that the Ancients were human and seeded a second evolution of their own form in the Milky Way explains why our physiology is so close to theirs. The "being thrown out" of the gate was attributed to factors such as either an explosion at the outgoing end or a surge in the wormhole, or in the case of going through when all 9 chevrons are locked, the inherent instability of such a remote connection (also somehow explained why radio signals couldn't pass).

Okay, I agree mostly with you but I must say that a lot of these items (such as the relativity thing) are explained during the series that you skipped. There is a whole canon that they built upon, and really while I can try and defend it all day I have to say I agree with you in that I actually tuned out for a number of episodes. (Apparently reading a book was more interesting at the time) That said, I think that SGU isn't that bad compared to some of the shows I have seen put on TV. No?
@MariahSyn Well, it certainly LOOKED better to a lot of shows I've seen. The effects and design were spectacular all around. Sadly that's mostly superficial and has no bearing on the quality of the substance IN the show.
