God I love this game, been so long since I played it. Beemer was a helluva bastard to beat! Ah but I loved using Tempest, never failed to make me smile when you hit someone with a weapon and he goes "WAAHOO!"

This game is one of the best Karting Games EVER yet its so unheard of.
- The karts handling, it was HARD to drive these things. Powersliding perfectly was so satisfying.
- The graphics were so bright and colourful and really pushed the boat out for PS1
- The music was cheery and atmospheric.
- you WANTED to unlock the next track and beat those frickking difficult bosses.
- The main menu, 5 kids sitting in a tree house, doing their own thing, very creative.
Love this game.
