We have no idea what the new owner says he wants to do with the land. Word is he wants to make a summer home or his no.1 residence out of it.
It is in something called the 'Oak Ridges Moraine', and is protected land so a housing development is not possible.
-
Do you think they may develop that land into a housing development, trailer park or even a golf course? It is pretty cheap to let all that go.

Boltville:
Thank you for your kind comment. The owners tried to sell it for four years and in the end they had to give it away for 2 million dollars. The clubhouse is worth that, and the 100 acres and the 120 campsites were a steal. sob sob.

Wikipedia--The Oak Ridges Moraine is an ecologically important geological landform in the Mixedwood Plains of south-central Ontario. The moraine covers a geographic area of 1,900 square kilometres between Caledon and Rice Lake, near Peterborough. One of the most significant landforms in southern Ontario, the moraine gets its name from the rolling hills and river valleys extending 160 km from the Niagara Escarpment east to Rice Lake. Formed 12,000 years ago by advancing and retreating glaciers.

Boltnille:
Thank you for the info.
Yes, we know all about the Moraine, and this is why we are so happly that the property will be a private home and not a development of homes for millionairs and such.
We must protect the lands of the greenbelts of this world. The lives of our children and grandchildren may depend on it.
