  • how much of the line is now operating?..is this the original rolling stock?

  • About 1 mile working at the moment - more planned.

Not an original train running but some original stock can be seen in the background.

  • About 1 mile has been relaid on the original track bed.

Not original stock but plans are in place to recreate the original L&B trains!

  • I take it theres a bit of a climb into woody bay.

    brilliant vid.

  • Yes, the (down*) uphill journey consists of 1 in 50 climb.whereas the (up*) downhill journey is basically about braking. (* UK railway tradition - up = to London and down = away from London).

  • Tackling that hill, the Locomotive sounded like it was saying "I can do it, I can do it."

  • i did that, i had to have the injector on from the bottum to keep it from blowing off, it blow off at the top witht he injector still on lol

  • Lovely vid.All the hard work is worthwhile.

  • I fire Statfold, and she is a lovely loco. The climb into Woody bay is quite steep but she handles it well, even with the 4th coach in tow. She is sick at moment with leaky tubes.
