Tackling that hill, the Locomotive sounded like it was saying "I can do it, I can do it."

i did that, i had to have the injector on from the bottum to keep it from blowing off, it blow off at the top witht he injector still on lol

I fire Statfold, and she is a lovely loco. The climb into Woody bay is quite steep but she handles it well, even with the 4th coach in tow. She is sick at moment with leaky tubes.

how much of the line is now operating?..is this the original rolling stock?

About 1 mile working at the moment - more planned.
Not an original train running but some original stock can be seen in the background.

About 1 mile has been relaid on the original track bed.
Not original stock but plans are in place to recreate the original L&B trains!

Yes, the (down*) uphill journey consists of 1 in 50 climb.whereas the (up*) downhill journey is basically about braking. (* UK railway tradition - up = to London and down = away from London).
