  • Hi What is the significance of the salitra dance? Sorry I do not understand.

  • As being a Gurung it is a previlegded inheriting a culture which has mystic like quality.i am a fan of Ghato and Krishna Chlaitra.Though i have no insight knowledge of it's content in it's intirety i do love the coherent singing by the elders at the backround and those trance like beat of Madal(drum). The dances are exquisite.Though i was brought up overseas i should be able to preserve these ritual for the next generation.I salute your enthusiasm in documenting our culture. Thanks for the Upload.
