The problem I'm running into is...I have that template however when I fill, the colored lines disappear...so when I delete the top layer to fill in the body parts it deletes all the colors...

i think the contiguous is the fuzzy select tool xD thanks for that! i wouldn't have known that if i didn't watched this n it save my life for not doing the erase thing uhhg! tyyy

Your filled-in layer+edge matching technique just saved me so much time. This college course I'm taking is having us use the polygonal lasso tool to delete outside the UV. And I've gotta make a couple of these haha. Thank you!
