That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Texas produces about 1/4 of the fuel in the US. While at the same time Texas gets less from the FED in highway funds that just about any state in the UNION. Not to mention that Texas has the 15th largest economy in the world.

I think we should kick Texas out of the union instead of waiting for them to secede. When they do, we use the military to close the texas/US border. When Mexico starts overtaking texas, we shoot texans who try to cross the border into the US just like Texans want to shoot Mexicans that cross the border into Texas now. With no welfare money from the feds, those lazy right wingers down there wouldn't live a month anyway. They'd be begging us to take them back. But why would we want them back?
