The number 13 has great spiritual symbology, as it represents the 12+1, the inclusion of Jesus besides his 12 apostles, the transcendence of the human ego. It is also of great significance in the Mayan calendar.
The Om is the primal sound, the Mantra of Mantras, from which the word Amen is derived.
Tibetan Monks have been singing the Om Mantra for thousands of years, always in the same tone of 136 Hz. Amazingly, this is the exact frequency of rotation of planet Earth, as it circles around the sun every year, if one translates that slow orbital movement into a tone perceptible by our human sense of hearing.
The frequency of 136 Hz is no longer part of the popular tuning systems used today. In the currently used western tuning system of A=440 Hz it would be a tone between a C and a C#.
This chants were sung in the original pitch of 136 Hz, so that the power of Om, as it resonates with the Earth's own frequency, remains intact.
Overtones are a physical phenomenon associated to waves (in this case musical tones) that manifest in quantum steps as hearable harmonics above the fundamental, root tone. They were discovered by Pythagoras, and form the basis of eastern and western tuning systems. Anyone can train his voice to allow for the manifestation of hearable harmonics, as I show in this recording.

  • One thing. 136 Hz means "136 times per second." That's what it means. It's not the "exact frequency of rotation of planet Earth, as it circles around the sun every year". Because that doesn't happen 136 times every second. It happens once a year. Which is 1/31536000 Hz or 0.000000315 Hz. So I guess you have to "translate that slow orbital movement into a tone perceptible by our human sense of hearing" Which means...speed it up? But you could speed it up to ANY frequency you wanted.

  • @baffledSnail You don't just "speed up" the frequency arbitrarily. You apply octave by octave until you reach one version of the same tone, which is now in a hearable range. For example, when a man and a woman sing the same tune, but the woman sings an octave higher than the man, would you say that they are singing different tones? No, they are singing exactly the same C or D or F, but in different octaves, therefore different frequencies, which represent the same tone. Thanks for your input!

  • I hope one day that the western part of the world realizes the truth in 13 not being an evil number.

  • @ThaLynx christianity is not evil, it's the people in it (mankind) that makes is evil. religion is to set you on the right path, not make your destiny.
