Aaahh! Nifty! I have knee length hair and when I want a short ponytail, I usually make a half-cinnamon bun and let the rest hang. But it doesn't poof out at the top like a normal ponytail. I don't know why I never thought of this!

Oh I use to do that, but then I cut my hair and now it's at a funky length-too short for this do, but too long for a regular pony to look that cute! You have beautiful hair! Glad to see videos for us girls with long hair!

Where can you buy the hair sticks I have bought some in the past but they have been made from wood so with my thick long hair they usually don't last long they brake from the stress of the hair. I wish we had a Goody,s store around here. I use to get a lot of my hair stuff from there but we don't. I have tried even Sallys but they don't carry anything but the wood kind. Thanks

I like doing this and curling it like you suggested. And, if I don't want the pony, I arrange the curls and pin around it. This is a great base to use for updo hairstyles. Sometimes I even make another knot and pin it to my head above the first one, curl ends and arrange curls. Really cute!

I've done this with two pencils in a pinch... and it is SO nice and easy to do!! I live on a farm so all my hairstyles have to be quick, simple, long-lasting, and out of the way. this fits the bill! Thanks so much Torrin :) *hugs&kisses*

Hey! I've done this before! I just used hair pins because my hair falls too easily. It's so cool seeing someone else do that.
