Before the Four Seasons Frankie Valli was in a rock and roll group called the Four Lovers around 1956 and 1957. I have taken snippets from their very rare EPs and made a compilation from eight songs.

This is correct. Valli, both DeVito's and Majewski. Those are the guys on the EP cover above. Massi, Calello were in and out of the group at varius points. Hugh Garrity was a member, among other guys at various points. Gaudio was not in until later.

Frankie Valli (possibly Vally or Valley at the time), Tommy Devito, Nick Massi, and who was the fourth? Gaudio wasn't till later and Nicki Devito was in prison, I believe.

According to Whitburn it was Valli, Nick and Tommy Devito and a Hank Majewski.
