No, the Iraq War is over because the public turned against it back in 2005, but Cheney & Bush refused to wind down the war. Now, we're finally out of there. Had it not been for mortgage relief initiated by Pres. Obama in 2009 which slowed the rate of foreclosures, the housing market would not have stopped plummeting for some time. The unemployment rate has ALWAYS been based on people who are actively looking for work. It can't include people who've gone back to school full time or retired.
