Carriage House~Trinity River Adventure Inn/Winter

Trinity River Adventure Inn's Carriage House is a cozy, historic cabin located on the Trinity River near Steel Bridge Road, Douglas City, California (about 50 minutes west of Redding). This is a dog-friendly, non-smoking establishment with two river locations and six cabins.

One of four unique cabins on one spectacular piece of riverfront property, the Carriage House may be rented alone or you can rent all four cabins (Alpen Glow: a majestic A frame with huge kitchen, deck and dining areas; Dragonfly: one very cute room that is rented only with the Carriage House; and the Miner's Cabin: a magical restored miner's cabin with post and beam construction that sits alone in a grove of trees right next to the river). This is a wondrous location for large groups such as family reunions.

Winter steelhead and salmon fishing are excellent. Your guide can pick you up at your cabin. If you have a boat or raft, you can tie it to the trees in front of your cabin.
