I am working on a sensor for electrochemical detection and quantification of Human vWF. Which is the best kind of Collagen that I could use as a substrate? type 1, 2, 3 or 4?
Thank You very much!

In Veterinary Medicine:
on Wilebrand Disease: PT (WRI); PTT (WRI/INCREASED); FDPs (<10ug/mL); FIBRINOGEN (WRI)/ PLATELETS (WRI); BMBT (INCREASED)
Three Types:
Type I = decreased level of vWF:Antigen w/ all plasma multimers decreased (Welsh Corgi, Dobies, GSD, GRD,Poodle)
Type II= decreased vWF:Antigen w/ decrease in HMW multimers (GSHP)
Type III= undetectable levels of vWF:Ag (Scottish Terrier, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Shetland Sheepdog
