Such a great song that I only recently discovered because someone on YouTube told me about it! Thanks nes. Cannot believe I've lived all this time in ignorance of it. =( Drum part is incredibly fun, but took a little while to figure out. As far as I can figure it on the live performances, Dom doesn't even bother muting the cymbals during the first verses. Lazy Dom. =) I'm doing a lot of concentrating during this one as there's lots of changes, so ignore silly facial expressions.

Please forgive the mistakes on this one. I did it rather quickly - This is the second and last take of the day. Third if you count the first time I messed up and only played half the song. I have been running this song through my head though for about a month. I have sat down and played parts of it during other practice sessions and have tapped it out while sitting at a desk and listening to my iPod (a routine form of practice). It just turns out I had almost no time today but still really wanted to post it. This one may need a redo at some point.

Drum notes:
-You will notice I lean over to hit the rim clicks on the bridge/interlude. This is because I had to move my seat backwards more than normal to have quick access to the low toms. So I am leaning extra forward for those rim clicks.
-2 hits at 1:43 should be flams, not single hits.
-On the last hit of the song, I hit a floor tom with the last cymbal. I really wish I would have hit 2 cymbals but oh well. Not so glorious ending. =)
-BTW: My fav little part: 1:14. Actually a complicated little couple of hits that I didn't think I was going to be able to pull off. I silently freaked out a little while the cover continued - Do me a favor: Shoot me a comment or a message for several reasons if you liked that little part:
1. To prove that you have read this far! (and see if people actually do it!)
2. To tell me if you would have noticed or not if I had not typed this.

Hope you all like. This will probably be the last Muse for a little bit. I really want to get on some more Mew, Radiohead and other bands. I have just finished up what was easily the busiest time of the semester for me and now I'm going to have some time to play. Yay!! So maybe a cover a week for a bit? At least one every other week until Christmas or so. A new Muse should be up within the next month or so though as the collab fellas will be wanting to do a new one. =) Thanks to you all for watching!

p.s. It's almost the end of my favorite month. =( Too bad I was so busy during it! I haven't even had enough time to read ghost stuff. =)

yo dude listen.

a lot of people told me to fuck off when i saw other drummers doing their thing and they just did really fast stuff, stuff that you can do with intense practice. they told me i was just jealous of their speed. so take this with you.

you are fucking amazing. you don't do speedy stuff like the other "drummers" but you play with soul and with trickery. i tried this song and it was too damn hard. keep it up brahski cause you've got some real talent. tbh, i'm jealous of you.
