Bandit Run 2010 Roars to a Start May 15 in Braselton, Ga.

The Bandit Run 2010, sponsored by Restore a Muscle Car and Year One, is slated to start in Braselton, Ga., on Saturday, May 15. That Saturday, activities will take place at the Year One facility. In addition, that morning participants can take advantage of an optional tour of Smokey and the Bandit movie sites. Bandit Runners will leave Braselton and head to Tifton, GA, for a car show, a visit to an auto museum and dinner on Sunday, May 16. The next morning the run departs for Florida.
After a stop at the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala, FA, runners will proceed to beautiful Daytona Beach for two nights of oceanfront fun. Optional activities in the area include a visit to the famous Daytona International Speedway and Daytona 500 Experience or a trip to Kennedy Space Center. On the morning of Wednesday, May 19th, Bandit Runners will enjoy a stunning drive down the East Coast to Jupiter, FL, and an overnight stay at an oceanfront resort. On Thursday morning, participants will depart for Orlando, FL, and Walt Disney World. Arriving at the Walt Disney World Speedway, participants will have the option of driving several laps around the one-mile tri-oval. The Richard Petty Driving Experience, located at the track, will offer Bandit Run participants a discounted rookie driving experience package on Friday. At the conclusion of the run, Bandit Runners can enjoy area attractions and depart Orlando at their discretion.
