@80LaDonna I am not saying don't give your six month old a sippy cup, because it is good for them, especially to give them water for hydration, and it is good practice. But I am saying people should not be so eager to wean a baby off a bottle or breast feeding. It provides comfort, bonding it helps babies who may be fussy eaters if you are pumping breast milk you are more likely to put it in a bottle, than a cup also same with along with formula. Babies need those nutrients their first year.

Kardancer1 Wic tells parents to start giving a cup and or tippy at 6 months. I am buying one of these tommee tippee bottles and I'm going to pray that my almost 7 month old son will take it because we have tryed every other bottle and he wont take a bottle at all. Oh my god how nice it would be to go out for dinner and a movie with my husband would be a dream come true!!
You should wait till she is twelve months before you wean her off the bottle entirely, not six months. I know you may think the bottle may ruin her teeth, but babies are SUPPOSED to bottle or breastfeed the first year. You still have an infant NOT a toddler until she is one year! Also nice review buy the way!
how durable are the bottles...i read reviews that said the tips tear and come apart after just a few months...is that true?
