Loved the rear tail lights of the old 60 and 61 models.

i rember he played a SOB on and epesode of The Andy Griffen show where he got on Barney's ass because he gave him a ticket for littering. and another one where he played a jerk to Barney after being kicked off the road because of trying to sell veggies.

I know what you mean. I used to deliver pizzas in a '71 Polara. Every time I delivered to a public housing project it was fun to watch all the gangstas run away.

RIP Cpl. Henshaw, Sgt. Hacker, Barney Hefner, & Sam The Butcher.
He was born in 1924. so that would make him 47 at the time

My dad had one of these cars and I took it out on weekends. The only problem was, or maybe it wasn't, is that the cops in my town drove the same car. So everytime I drove up to our local hangout, everyone ran into the woods. There I was, alone to pick up everyone's stash that they had tossed as they ran away.
