This is fantastic! I recognize more of the women than the men. Does anyone know who is narrating? I want to say Debbie Reynolds, but I can't be for sure. Also, it is great to see my fave, Deborah Kerr, sitting next to Angela Lansbury. Does anyone else think that Lena Horne looks bored by it all? LOL!

MGM was founded in 1924, so yeah, it must have been 1949!

This clip is also in the first 'That's Entertainment' film (1974). I too remember nearly falling off the seat when I first saw Deborah in it!

OMG! Why weren't we invited Larisa?! ;D Certainly more stars than in heaven! Gosh, Deborah, Greer, Katharine, Ava, Walter, Clark, Errol, Frank, Gene, Spencer, Esther, Angela, Janet, Lassie etc etc etc :D Sure wish we could be there now ;) Oh and Greer and Janet Leigh in those costumes, they must have been filming That Forsyte Woman right?

The invites must gave gotten lost in the mail or something, damn, damn ,damn! Can you imagine! turning to your right to clink glasses with Deborah and from your left Walter Pidgeon passing the bowl of salad *faints* I've noticed that too, and I think you're right!
