In my limited experience in Systema, I am very impressed by it and agree wholeheartedly with the concept of slow practice, for muscle-memory development. You like 52? Check out SIfu Rudy Curry's comments on his experience in dealing with it; pretty interesting. It's on youtube.

Look. He WAS out there, so I've got to give him respect for that. I was just making an observation which is valid against most demonstrations, whereby the "master" looks like flawless & deadly, when in fact, it's against pliant and slow-moving practitioners. I argue that vs. real speed, very little of the demonstrated techniques of ANY art will work.

personally I glad many young guys with huge egos think systema is bullshido because simply they are unworthy
I agree with you systema is the number one self defence for many reasons but personally I hope this systema knowable stays underground.I want the edge over those who never heard about it

I think the muy thai guy experince made him become aware of the the low kicks
yes he did not of the spetznaz magic but he did better then most guys against a muy thai while at the same time having his hands down by his waist.
He seemed only to have trouble against the low kicks

These are very good moves that to me makes systema number one in self defense and its too bad not many people check these videos out on you tube, no just a mere fraction of hits.
