  • good to see that you have protective gear on but I wonder why you are cutting soooo CLOSE to the trailer, risking hitting it with the bar/chain???

  • dont worrie mate ,its an optical illusion. i was a good 10" or more away so i felt ok about it. thanks for the thumbs up on the PPE.

  • needs a sharpen

  • the chain was NEW out of the box. it does not need to be sharpened. you clearly know nothing about saws.

  • Some chains are junk right out of the box, many have anti kickback rakers that doesnt allow the teeth to bite properly = poorer saw performance for less liability concerns. I own the 460 and use a 24" bar and I promise you it will move through that 8-10" stuff you are cutting there. You do have chain issues, probably in the rakers. Do'nt get offended, just get a raker guage and your life will be much easier.

  • im not offended. if anybody should be its stihl and it was their best chain. anybody ever think the wood is very tough? i guess your all internet experts from watching a video?

  • With firewood that thin, who needs paper to start a fire? ;+)

Great saw! I have one myself. And yes, it is cutting properly. You all need to consider different tree hardness' by species, plus some trees are harder than others of the same species. A lot of factors in how hard a tree is, and the harder it is, the harder it is to cut. Not all are going to cut like white pine... apparently some of you have never cut on a hickory, maple, or oak.

  • im sorry i dont think your one not worked paying theprice . sharpen then upgrade

  • @iwantastihl boy u sound like a complete moron

  • @ultima4200 Could you please explain how to do a back slip?

  • why you cuting your firewood so thin

  • Oregon chains are fine, Husqvarna blades too.

  • lol wow never in my life have i heard that its always the opposite if i could afford it would always buy stihl chain more pricier but you get hwat you pay for.

  • that sombich is loud! put nitro in the tank to really go fast!
