@CyborgNinja7 seems like language changes from time to time

Why waste energy trying to cut down a tree with an axe when you can just shoot it down with a big ass gun?

thanks a lot, loved it, especially the music

After watching Kino's Journey I decided I'd get a motorbike. But after all that money and effort I can't get mine to talk. Am I doing something wrong or is my motorbike just anti-social?

@sugoifriends no not kino/sakura kino, i mean the real orginal kino that saved kino/sakura before she was killed by his father

@SkyeSweetnamGal I don't think that it's left for the viewer to decide. Kino had a mother, episode 4, if i'm not wrong. That, in episode 4, it's her true mother, for sure.

@aurielMoon I don't know if you have the answer by now... But without spoiling: she uses "boku" because she assumes herself as "Kino", the man who saved her.
wait, im confused. so who was that crazy woman? was she the original kino's mother? could someone please explain?

@SkyeSweetnamGal It's never said one way or another, it's left for the viewer to decide.

why does she say boku?

Its a masculine form of saying "I" in Japanese...

but why boku? i cant see her saying atashi, but i guess thats why i was so confused when i first watched the series. she kept saying boku so i thought ah!boy! it was really hard to start thinking girl, girl, girl. it just sounds odd to me. :D

I think its a topic that hasn't been too accurately explained. Its also one of those things that gets lost in translation from Japanese to English.
