Lost - Desmond and Penny HD

In one of the best scenes not only in this season but in the entire series, Desmond is able to reach his love and constant in episode 5 of season 4, 'The Constant', of Lost. Despite being a show based around fantasy, science fiction, and action among other things, Lost has no problem portraying the emotionality that oftentimes arises from the desolation of being far and away from those that are loved, and this scene demonstrates the masterful and artistic way that the show handles it. The music swells and the acting is top notch in this powerful moment.
