I actually like this song alot. I don't know much about the violent femmes but I do know how to read in wikipedia and try to discern what is true. The song is legendary!

i was the director on this project...I started working with the Femmes and during our contract negotiations, the band broke up. Bummer all around! Thanks for checking out the trailer though. peace. Howie

nope - the femmes are all but broken up and this project got derailed when the bass player sued the singer for royalties after Blister In The Sun was in a Wendy's commercial.....bummer....
