I never said that is what he meant, it is the meaning that I take from the song. The war he is talking about is the fight over religious belief. That is why the song is called Belief. Who said that one video can stop a war? All wars can end when we learn how to coexist understanding that spirituality is a personal choice and that no one should be persecuted for what they believe. Listen to the song..........make a new perception.

I dunno. Just seems a bit easy to focus on the tragic american deaths that have happened in comparison to the real atrocities going on there. I think you have to rethink this video outside of an american context. There's more to the war in Iraq other than dead yanks.

ARE you seriously blind? Did you miss the innocent Iraqi people in the video? The babies and children!!! Next time you comment on something watch it fully first. Those soldiers that are dying did not become soldiers with the thought that they wanted to go and kill innocent people. These men and women were looking for a better life and way to pay for an education that they would not have had unless they joined. Open your eyes before you open your mouth!!

American soldiers arent the innocent. Its the iraqi people that we should be sad for. The soldiers had a choice and invaded a place that didnt want us. So screw the soldiers, they chose to commit this atrocity

Why do you think I made sure that most of the people shown are those being harmed in iraq. The soldiers are innocent as well. They had no choice once they enlisted. How could they know that they were going to be forced to do what they had to. This is not a choice made by them it is made by those in power. Wake up....WE ARE ALL ONE!!!

But coming from a family of soldieers, as well as a girlfriend of one, if this chick were to go up to them saying the years of being away from us, risking their lives, fighting to protect OUR FREEDOM to post this bullshit, is unnecessary, would be UNBELIEVABLY offensive. Sure, go occupy wall street or whatever the fuck you hippies do, but don't talk about shit you know nothing about.

i find comical how all of a sudden we pay attention (we as in americans) to the middle eastern wars and think that we can just stop something that has been going on for hundreds of years. This has great images but has nothing to do with the lyrics at all. just cause he says war a couple times doesn't necessarily mean its all about the "war" in iraq.
