Funfair operators are now too lazy to make their own ride announcements and now use pre-recorded ones, which are really irritating, especially with this dodgy English accent. Great ride though, at Preston Park, Brighton during Pride 2006.

No, it really is laziness because if they wanted to clean up their act they would simply NOT use foul language.  Period. Self control is better than pre-recorded announcements. And by the way, sometimes the ops have to throw a sort of wall up in front of people because having worked rides myself, people will call you every name in the book and yell and scream because you won't let them do something related to your ride that could injure them or even their child.

These pre-recorded announcements are not a sign of laziness, but carnival operators cleaning up their act. This eliminates the possibility of foul language or ride-ops harassing patrons over the p/a system.
