This video is a live recording of the first performance of the Hokah Polka, written for the United Methodist Church of Hokah, MN. We want everyone to enjoy it, so here it is.
There's a town, a little town sleeping just across the river
With a church on the hill where she has been forever
And from this place a Glimpse of Grace is streaming thru the windows
Flowing down around the town and anywhere the wind blows
It's making people happy as they go about their day
They wonder how you're doing when you meet along the way
They'll ask about your momma, if or when the baby's due
And if you're down they'll make a pie and send it home to you
It's happening in the grocery store and in the coffee shop
Where neighbors care about you and there's always time to stop
To share a cup of coffee or a creamy coca mocha
The Glimpse of Grace i'm singing about must be The Hokah Polka
