This is a Bill Monroe tune that Kenny Baker fiddled. Here's a link to the lesson! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR0fYETVAsU . For Raoena: For a clip of the master himself, with better bowing, see KB playing it for here Aly Bain. With BM backing him up. Legend... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpzoLAwZ-gs

You should link to the vid of Kenny baker playing this. You play it pretty well but you're way off on the bowing, and it really does matter...Kenny's bowing creates a rhythm, swing and drive that are unique. In other words, if you're going to say you're teaching the Kenny Baker version, that doesn't just mean the notes. The bowing is an important element of what makes it his.

Is there a video where you play this whole song slowly, say, at the speed of the teaching video? a slow paced accompaniment video would be great also :)

I´m an old time fiddler from Germany and I love this tune. Your lesson encouraged me to try again. Thanks a lot! Greetings from Karin
