Teaching Artist Institute

The Teaching Artist Institute (TAI) is a partnership between the Maryland Chapter of Young Audiences/Arts for Learning (YA), Arts Education in Maryland Schools (AEMS) Alliance, and the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC). TAI partners are working together to build a learning community in Maryland for teaching artists by providing training, resources, and networking opportunities. Our vision is that, as a result of collective efforts, teaching artists will play a more meaningful role in our schools and communities and will help make our schools more joyful, creative places to learn and grow.
