I am visiting there soon and staying at El Cid. I've never noticed crime before although I haven't spent long hours in time. What crime are you referring too?

Paradise, reality is totally different, Puerto Morelos is a dirty village , forgotten by the governors in Cancun, no money for infrastructure and violence is increasing, i'm living here......
