  • Very cool. Why don't NYC paramedics keep the sirens rolling? Is it to keep peace?

  • why the drivers and walkers don't respect the emergency car with siren?

  • Nice response :)

  • please do some vids on a ride along with the nypd

  • All ambulances in NY State are technically supposed to have lights and sirens on to all assignments ( in NYC not catagory 7 or 8 EDPS, etc). Most do not, however SOME EMS bosses will write up a unit for not having everything on ( depending on the boss).

  • Not suppose to. They're suppose to do them in pulses like the FDNY just in case another emergency vehicle is coming from another direction, they'll hear the siren, and so they dont cause a panic and have people drive into the intersection and cause a crash

  • Dont they have a gps who tells them where to go?

  • he should let the siren on

  • people cant realise that an ambulance is behind them ???
