Four Brothers, One Me Ch. 11

Nick's P.O.V.
I sat down in a chair. Everyone else had left to go find her. I wanted to go, i really did, but after our conversation i was going to be killed for sure and on our second day of dating too....
"Damn.." I sighed and hit a wall.
I was probably the biggest idiot i had ever met. Who just lets their girlfriend get raped by some guy? Joe wouldnt, i know that for sure.
I looked at her phone resting in my hand. Was I really going to just sit here? I could have asked her where she was. She might have been able to describe it to me. I sighed and got up.
"Mom, i'll be back!" I wiped away some tears and ran out the door. Sophie was in need and I had to do something.

Sophie's P.O.V.
We walked about a mile until we came upon a familiar face.
"Joe!" I shouted and jumped into his arms. Alex at his side. "Im so glad to see you." I cried.
He wrapped his huge arms around my body and squeezed tightly.
"Soph i'm so sorry for losing you in the crowd. Please forgive me." Alex cried and hugged me.
"You're forgiven."
"Am I?"
I knew that voice all too well. I slowly turned to see the person behind me. Nick.
"No.." I whispered and walked the other way.
"Sophie please!" He cried.
I kept walking. I felt awful, but he betray my trust. How could I forgive him now? Maybe in time, but not now.

I watched the pavement beneath my feet for what seemed like hours when it was only ten minutes. I heard all the footsteps behind me. Joe's, Alex's, Mary's, and Nick's....
We reached the building soon and mom tackled me in a hug.
"Soph, thank god you're ok. Who's this?" She pointed to mary.
"This is Mary. The evil little girl whose uncle or whatever kidnapped me." I glared at Mary and she looked down.
"I'm sorry.." She whispered.
"Well..." Mom sighed. "Let's get you all cleaned up and get some food in you. Then lets talk this through."
We all nodded and took a ride to a small house. It was a very cute cottage, made of wood.
"Where are we?" Alex looked up at the house and closed her car door.
"This is my rental home here." Mom smiled. "Cute, isn't it?"
We all laughed and went inside. It was cold and dark, but warm and full of life at the same time.
I took a shower first. The hot water felt good running down my back. I was at peace and felt tired for the first time in what seemed like forever.
I was startled when i heard a small knock on the door.
"Yes?"
The door opened and the scent of colonge filled the small bathroom. Nick.
"Soph...can we talk?"
"I'm in the shower." I held my hands up in front of me and raised an eyebrow. What a stupid question he just asked me.
"I know, but I know if we talk while you're in the shower, you won't try to kill me."
I moved the shower curtain and poked my head through.
Nick was sitting on the counter, hands folded in his lap, and he was looking at the floor.
"Alright, talk." I spat harshly.
He sadly looked up at me.
"I wish I could have done something more. I didn't mean to be stupid and rude on the phone. I was just worried and scared. Please forgive me?"
"There are things that are forgiveable and things that are not." I moved the curtain and my head back into the shower.
"Sophie....please."
I rolled my eyes.
"No."
"Sophie.."
"Nick.."
"Sophie...why can't you forgive me?"
"Nick..because you're being an asshole."
I heard him sigh and open the door.
"Nick...wait."
"What?" He closed the door.
I wrapped a towel around my body and stepped out of the shower. I got close to his body and looked him straight in the eyes.
I could feel his body tense and his breathing go uneven. I giggled and backed away.
"You may go now." I laughed.
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
"Don't do that to me..." He moaned.
"Well if I can't do that...can I do this?"
Before he could answer, I let go of my towel and crashed my lips onto his. When he was comfortable, he wrapped his arms tightly around my wet body and kissed back passionately.
